DigiFish Clownfish allows you to view anemonefish, clownfish and related species in their natural habitat. This program features the same great fish and scenery that is found in its sister program, Aqua Real 2, but it also includes anemones for the fish to hide in and swim through.
Unfortunately the program is limited by its own premise. While there are many fish to choose from, the scenery is very limited. And while the anemones sway with the current and react realistically to movements of fish, they still do not look as realistic as the rest of the program. They seem unfinished compared to the rest of the program and ruin the overall look and feel.
Despite the unrealistic anemones, the program still benefits from the realistic fish movements and behaviors. If the manufacturer could make the anemones look better and offer more scenery, the program will definitely rank higher in the future.
Like our number one and two products, Aqua Real 2 and DigiFish Dolphin, which use the same interface, DigiFish Clownfish is very easy to use. You can feed the fish and tickle them with different buttons. The setup menu is easy to navigate and the program can be run in fullscreen, windowed or active desktop modes, making it perfect for many different situations.
DigiFish Clownfish lets you choose up to 15 fish in one tank, out of a total of 25 different species, mostly because the tank seems more confined than in other programs. One of the real problems is that there is only one background to choose from. All you can change is the type of anemone featured in the tank. This severely limits the program and was one of the reasons it didn’t rank better.
You can interact with the fish and feed them. And one of our favorite features is the ability to play your music with the program, allowing you to choose the mood whenever your screensaver comes on.

Formosoft International Inc. provides several different resources for users. There is email support as well as manuals, FAQs, forums and online updates.
The fish in DigiFish Clownfish are the real strength of the program. They look and move realistically and their interactions with their surroundings and each other are very life-like.
The scenery in DigiFish Clownfish is the real downfall of the program. There is only one background, though graphically it looks great. The various anemones that you can choose move convincingly, but they still look cartoonish compared to the fish.
Digifish Clownfish is only a good program for those who really love anemones and clownfish. There are many other programs that offer better variety and a more comprehensive ocean feel.
